(See also Showcase #80)
After an appearance in Showcase #80 The Phantom Stranger received this, his second series in May/Jun 1969 which ran for 41 issues.
Though the series ended after a 41 issue run, this became one of several titles that the Blackest Night series "resurrected" in 2010, though only for a single issue (#42).
One of those lesser DC titles but still with its own collectible cult following as it's possible to put a run together and enjoy some nice artwork from the likes of Jim Aparo, Mike Kaluta, Neal Adams and Mike Grell.
Every single issue was distributed in the UK through newsagents though the 52 page issues (#15-19) were more scarce as UK Variant pence copies as fewer copies came over.
