Collecting Christmas issues of British comics' titles is a whole sub-set in itself. The covers were usually a special celebration of the Christmas holiday period and some were a full page panel featuring all the characters of the comic. Most had 'snow' on the comic title.
These issues usually fetch a lot more than the issues around it and in some instances two comics across late December had 'snow' titles.
I would highly recommend Phil Shrimpton's Dandy and Beano Christmas covers book, Dandy and Beano being the most sought after Christmas covers, especially the very early issues.
