My favourite war title. Perhaps because it was the first one bought for me. I still have  those copies 45 years later! I loved Gunner and Sarge.

The first 50 issues were Non Distributed in the UK at the time and are always cents copies. The early distributed pence variant issues from #51 onwards are very scarce in UK circulation - you just don't see them around. Certainly very scarce up to about #71. #99-102 are scarce as pence copies and for a while the title went Non Distributed from issue #103 through to #129. And #158-162 are favourites as they are drawn by the great Jack Kirby.

Collected by a dedicated few - I wouldn't say his is a hot selling back issue series by any stretch of the imagination. You'll see examples on eBay UK at discounted prices to shift them! And if you also look on eBay UK you'll find maybe one early pence copy variant!
