OUR ARMY AT WAR (1ST SERIES)
Our Army at War was a regular monthly title published by DC Comics that featured war-themed stories and featured the first appearances of Sgt. Rock and Enemy Ace.
The series began as Our Army At War and although in time the title began to display the tag-line featuring Sgt. Rock, it was not until the series had lasted 301 issues that it was re-named to Sgt. Rock.
All issues from #88 (Nov 1959) up to #167 were distributed in the UK at the time before a long period of Non Distributed/cents only issues from #168 to #239.
This is a major title in the USA market, less so in the UK. One could expect up to double the values for cents copies, more in very high grades, especially on the early and key issues. Will that pence/cents gap narrow on this title?
