Regular series that started being published quarterly then became published monthly with issue #8 (April 1946). This was DC's entry into the funny animal comic s field even though super heroes were still their main emphasis.
Edited by Sheldon Mayer, the anthology format showcased a number of new animal humor features including; Rufus Lion, Blackie Bear, Bulldog Drumhead and McSnurtle the Turtle. Issues #77-79 saw the logo display "Funny Stuff presents" in small letters above a main heading of "Dodo and the Frog". With issue #80 the title officially becomes "Dodo and the Frog" and ran until #92.
