Launched on 19th September 1953, TV Fun featured strips based (as its name suggests) on various TV shows and celebrities, a sister title to Amalgamated Press' established Film Fun and Radio Fun titles. During its run it absorbed Tip Top and Jingles.
After 312 issues it was reinvented on 12th September 1959, a week shy of its sixth birthday, as TV Fan, lasting only 21 weeks under the new title before being absorbed into Valentine.
