A long-running and successful title, tabloid in size like The Beezer. For more detailed information, have a look at the wonderful Topper Tales, a guide to Topper comics, lovingly put together by top expert Ray Moore.

When it came out, The Topper was the first companion title to The Dandy and The Beano and would soon be followed by Beezer. The Topper saw the introduction of Beryl the Peril by Dennis the Menace artist Davey Law as well as Mickey The Monkey by Dudley Watkins.

18th Dec 2019. A Topper #1 sold for £367.89 on eBay UK, philcomics proving another record sale. Well done sir!

Feb 2024. Comic Book ostal Auctions sold a bound volume of Topper #1-50 for £1,420. Well done Malcolm!
