The first girls’ comic to be published after the war, the initial circulation was a very healthy 1 million copies per week.
Individual issue come up for sale but really these are of curiosity value value only - I can't imagine that there are legions of collectors out there desperate to put a complete set together. Issues can sell for as little as 10p for poor copies and maybe £10 for an excellent copy. It's all about what someone wants to pay for an issue or a run of issues. This comic seems also to be bought as a birthday souvenir for those born in 1965 or before.
Spring 2016: Comic Book Postal Auctions sold an unusual lot of the first issue (trimmed, probably extracted from a bound volume) of the 1919 first series and a first issue (well worn - Fair to Good only) of this 1950 series for a combined £48.
Bound volumes are the best way to read and collect this title. An example from a Comic Book Postal Auction's Summer 2011 catalogue:
